On this day June 25, 1950

On this day June 25th, 1950 the North Koreans invaded South Korea. The American Troops acting under the United Nations came to the aid. This began the Korean war that was one of the bloodiest wars the United States has been apart of. The war went on for 3 years killing over 55,000 U.S. Servicemembers. The number can only be imagined who returned from this conflict with injuries and mental Trauma.

As Americans we should never forget, and always be thankful for the ones that sacrificed the most. RIP Warriors your legacy will live on and inspire the future service members.
