On this day July 3, 1775

On this day George Washington rode a horse in front of the newly formed continental army. At this point he officially took command as the commander and chief. His birth right in Virginia and experience in the French Indian war ultimately gave him the position.

Can you imagine how different things could be for us had this one man in history been replaced with the wrong person. I think that thought is crossing a lot of peoples minds right now. Only the future will tell as it did for George Washington
